616 REALTY was founded by Scot Kellogg. Born and raised in West Michigan, Scot comes from a family of builders. He worked as a builder from 1997 to 2002 and, during this time, cultivated his passion for all things real estate. He became a licensed Realtor® in 2001 and a licensed broker in 2011.

That same year, Scot founded 616 REALTY with a vision to be the region’s go-to hometown real estate firm. This vision has driven our success as a brokerage. Located in the heart of Grand Rapids, we’re one of West Michigan’s fastest-growing real-estate firms.

Our headquarters at 1171 Plainfield Avenue NE in Grand Rapids is a great place to work and meet. We purchased our iconic building – located in the Creston / North Quarter Business District – in 2017. In 2018, at the 29th annual Neighborhood Business Awards, we were honored for Best Interior Renovation. We’re very proud of this achievement and our commitment to the neighborhood.

Transaction Title – a leading provider of real estate title insurance, escrow, closing and settlement services – is an affiliate of 616 Realty. Transaction Title offers services for real estate transactions that are agent-represented and for-sale-by-owner.

Scot started 616 REALTY because he wanted to sell real estate – but he also wanted to help other agents grow their careers.

Focused on expanding this team of real estate professionals, Scot has created a welcoming environment that’s both professional and casual, where agents build their own independent real estate practices. Today, over 80 agents are part of 616 REALTY.

We’re all individuals – and we each bring unique experiences and strengths to the firm. Together, we form an energetic team driven to provide great service for our clients. And it’s because of our great team we’ve been on an upward trajectory of growth. In 2022, we sold over $213 million in real estate.
