Adam is a born and raised Michigander who found his way to 616 Realty in January of 2022. His decision to work in real estate is the culmination of preparation meeting opportunity, coupled with a little bit of luck; after leading a life that has thus far proven to be a wealth of diverse experiences.
A decorated combat veteran, Adam served his country proudly as an Artilleryman in the United States Army from 2010 to 2013, where he spent one tour of duty in Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012. Upon returning home and working through a brief period of reacclimating to civilian life, he decided it was best to continue building upon his human capital through the pursuit of a collegiate education.
Adam began his collegiate education by pursuing an Associate degree in Liberal Studies from Montcalm Community College, of which he completed in 2016. He then went on to complete his Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Davenport University in 2018, which is also where he finished his collegiate career by receiving his Master’s in Business Administration in 2021. The pinnacle achievement of Adam’s educational career however took place during the summer of 2017 when him and a small group of interns working with the non-profit organization Meijer State Games of Michigan, produced the 2017 State Games of America; a national recreational sporting event that generated over $10 million of positive economic impact to the Greater West-Michigan area.
Understanding his own military experience, Adam has also intermittently worked with multiple veteran oriented non-profit organizations to give back. His non-profit experiences consist of working with the organization Homes for Our Troops in 2010 to build specifically adapted homes for severely injured veterans; and working with the locally owned and operated Wounded Soldier Foundation from 2018 to 2020, in which a series of annual recreational sporting events are produced with 100% of the proceeds being redistributed to veterans in need throughout the surrounding Kent, Montcalm, and Ionia counties.
Sometimes described as intense, direct, and acting with a sense of urgency, Adam conducts business much like he conducts his personal life of which is predicated on what he calls the 5F’s: Faith, Family, Friends, Fitness, and Finance. When he’s not at the office, you can be sure to find him with his better half and fiancé April, raising their two daughters Willow and Harper, dropping dubs on video games with friends, or at the gym lifting weights.
