Not Your Typical Realtor. Not Your Typical Bio.
You loathe typical real estate agent bios. Don’t worry, I do too. They’re like cardboard — stiff, bland, and identical to every other bio out there. Instead of boasting ad nauseum about awards and accomplishments you’re not interested in, I’m taking the novel approach of actually giving you what you want — real answers to questions you’re probably wondering right now.
Will you return my calls and emails and texts?
Yes. Without question.
I realize this is one of the major frustrations the general public has with dealing with agents. I get dozens of calls and emails and texts daily, and I work hard to reply as quickly as possible.
I’ve met many Realtors who are jerks. Are you?
Depends on who you ask. If you ask certain agents who have stood between my clients and their real estate goals, they’ll probably say “yes”. A handful of people think I leave golden footprints in the sand. Those are the two extremes, and most people’s opinion falls somewhere in the middle.
Here’s what I can tell you:
I’m honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly and pretty darn funny when the need arises. If you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values. Want to really find out if I’m a jerk? Mess with one of those people.
Do you have experience doing exactly what I need?
Until you tell me what you need, there is no way of knowing. These are “strong suits” of mine:
- Patiently and thoroughly answering all of your questions.
- Keeping it real, always.
- Creative, Professional Marketing. It’s kind of a big deal.
- Thinking outside of the box.
- Not being a slimy, used car salesman, high pressure kind of agent.
- Working with first time home buyers, you guys it’s so much fun!
- Selling your home… ok, this one seems a bit obvious, but someone had to say it!
- Not treating you like a walking dollar sign.
- Not judging your “messy” home, you live there… It’s not going to be spotless all the time, or in my case, ever. If this does not apply to you, you’re making the rest of us look bad. Stop it.
- Being an overall genuine person, working hard to provide for my family and yours.
If your goal or situation isn’t represented on that list, don’t worry. Contact me anyway. If I can’t help, I will refer you to another great agent who can.
What kind of work are you really good at?
On a personal level, I’m pretty good at cooking (I make a mean lasagna!), and I’m not too shabby at planning and hosting events for family and friends. On a professional level, here are the skill- sets that I’ve developed over the years:
- Really listening. Unfortunately, it’s a lost art these days.
- When buying a home, I’m only in a rush if you are.
- Negotiating, it is so important to have someone strong fighting your corner.
- Answering my phone. Trust me, it’s a skill that not every agent possesses.
- My time is no more valuable than yours.
- Problem solving. It really would be ideal if every transaction went off without a hitch but that just isn’t realistic. There will likely be some bumps along the way. No need to fret though, I enjoy a good challenge.
What do clients think of you?
My clients are better suited to answer this for you. Here’s what some of them have said.
“I have worked with other agents in the past, none were even close to how well Meghan did the job! She really cares about every client she has and goes out of her way when necessary to get you what you are looking for! Very hard working and also a Very Sweet, easy to talk to woman. I HIGHLY Recommend Meghan as your Agent! I will definitely recommend her to all my Family and Friends!”

“Meghan is awesome to work with. We can’t wait to work with her in the near future on selling or buying new property. We gave her contact info to our friends. She is prompt and honest. We enjoyed working with her. Not only did she help us get the house we want- ed, she also educated us about importance of home inspections which we think really help homeowners in the long run.”

“I moved to Michigan 3 years ago. I’ve been stalling to buy house because my experiences in Florida were so horrible. I finally decided in December it was time and just take a deep breath. I cannot believe how easy the process has been. I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every minute it. Meghan was amazing and looked out for me through it all. I can’t thank her enough! I like to say not only was I fortunate to have a wonderful realtor, but now I have a friend. Thank you, Meghan.”

— Frank and Melissa Patton, January 2018
“Meghan was great to work with! She really listened to me about what I was looking for in a home, and I bought one that was just what I was looking for. She sold my other home as well and made the process fun and painless. She did her homework and always made decisions that were in my best interest. I wasn’t stressed or worried during this time because I knew she had it handled, and she did. Thanks Meghan.”
— Liz Holt, October 2017
