Mary Kosiorek

Mary Kosiorek was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has dedicated her life to helping others. Mary graduated from Grand Rapids Creston High School and was in the top 20 of her graduating class, she was also the first recipient of the Joanne Rowan scholarship. Mary went on to obtain a degree in criminal justice from Grand Rapids Community College. Mary started her career as an assistant case manager in the medical department for the Kent County Friend of the Court. After serving her clients for six years she started a family and decided to be a stay-at-home mom. Once Mary’s children were of school age, Mary worked as a principal’s secretary at Lincoln School in Grand Rapids Michigan as well as a substitute teacher all over Kent and Montcalm County’s. Mary worked for Grand Rapids Public schools as well as Rockford Public Schools with a combined total of nine years of service. In her spare time, Mary works as an election inspector for Courtland Township, volunteers for the Rockford Public Schools and considers cooking, running and traveling with her family to be her favorite hobbies.
