Can a seller withhold a sale price from the MLS?

No. The listing agreement that the seller signed states that the seller acknowledges and agrees that the price, terms, and other details with respect to the closed sale are not confidential. This disclosure is reiterated in the purchase agreement and is upheld by the MLS Rules & Regulations. The sold price is considered critical information for purposes of statistics and appraisals.
