I am a licensed real estate agent. Can I buy an interest in a title company and refer business to that title company?

Yes, but only if you get an Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure form signed for each referral. Remember, however, that this form does not allow you to receive a referral fee from your title company. Your compensation from the title company must be tied directly to your ownership percentage in the title company. Your compensation may not be tied to the amount of business you refer to the title company.
