I am representing a buyer in the purchase of a home. The listing agent said that, by law, I am required to provide him with a copy of the agency disclosure statement I furnished to my buyer-client. Is this true?

No. The law does not require you to provide the listing agent with a copy of the agency disclosure statement you furnished to your buyer-client. But you should submit a new agency disclosure form to the seller – through the listing agent –notifying the seller that you are acting as a buyer’s agent.
