The 2024 West Michigan Regional Listing Agreement has some new checkboxes and fields in the Fixtures & Improvements Paragraph for the identification of rented items. Does that information also need to be disclosed on the MLS?

Yes. If there are items in the listed property that are rented, such as smart home devices, security systems, fuel tanks, water softener, or other items, please list those rented items in the public marketing remarks on the MLS.

GRAR has requested that MichRIC add fields to our Flex MLS for the disclosure of rented items, but until such time as/if that occurs, GRAR is calling for the disclosure to be included in the public marketing remarks. The disclosure of rented items at the time of listing will help prevent confusion and disputes after closing.
