What do the SA, BA, TC abbreviations on the MLS represent?

These fields provide the amount of compensation offered to a cooperating broker who is acting as either a subagent for the seller (SA), a buyer’s agent (BA), or a transaction coordinator (TC). A sub-agent of the seller is a real estate licensee who provides real estate services to a buyer while actually representing the seller in a real estate transaction (meaning there is no buyer agency agreement in place). SA is not an acronym for Selling Agent. It is also a misconception that the SA, BA, and TC amounts added together determine the total amount of compensation being paid by the seller. Rather, these fields represent the amount of compensation the cooperating broker will receive if acting in one of those capacities.
