Dave Howard
Dave is a lifelong Grand Rapids resident with deep roots on the city’s Northeast side and a passion for serving the community he has always called home. After a remarkable 34 year career at Forest Hills Northern teaching English, Broadcast Communications, and Theater, Dave brings decades of relationship building, communication, and leadership experience into real estate.
Throughout his career, Dave had the opportunity to work with countless students and families while directing more than 140 theater productions at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center. He continues to stay actively involved by directing the school’s summer theater program, something that reflects both his creativity and his commitment to the next generation in West Michigan.
Dave’s client service philosophy is built on clarity, consistency, and trust. He believes communication should always be proactive, straightforward, and responsive. By setting clear expectations, providing timely updates, and adapting to each client’s preferred communication style, Dave works to ensure every client feels informed, confident, and supported throughout the entire process.
Known for being friendly, reliable, and committed, Dave takes pride in helping people navigate important life decisions with honesty and care. His lifelong knowledge of the Grand Rapids area, combined with his people first approach, allows him to create meaningful connections and guide clients with confidence.
Outside of real estate, Dave enjoys spending time with his family, biking, traveling, and continuing his involvement in the local theater community. His passion for helping others and his love for West Michigan make him a trusted advocate for buyers and sellers across the Greater Grand Rapids area.
