How do I write a back-up offer?

The West Michigan Regional Forms Committee provides a Back-Up Offer Addendum. In order to complete the addendum, you will want to contact the listing agent to determine the date of the accepted offer (i.e. the offer that is in the first position), as well as the position number that your offer will be in, if accepted. Meaning, has the seller accepted other back-up offers or is yours the first that has been received? Please consult your broker with additional questions.
